MEET THE CREATRIX
BEHIND THE FAIRY'S CUP
Rebecca Antsis is an interdisciplinary Alchemixtress whose life is devoted to the healing & dramatic arts. She melds her backgrounds in theatre, food & beverage and religious/spiritual studies to create prismatically potent, magical experiences.
​
Born to Ukrainian artist parents and the great-grandaughter of Ukrainian-Jewish folk healer Maria Konovalova, the European mythic imagination, magic, and folk herbalism innately informs the Fairy's Cup aesthetic.
As a native East Coaster, Rebecca's first love was the theatrical arts. Her training includes a Bachelors in Performance Art in addition to post-graduate studies in clown, Commedia dell'Arte, and Physical/Devised Theatre from Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance.

To sustain her artistic endeavors, Rebecca has worked within the Food & Beverage and Events industries for over twenty years culminating in several leadership positions. Serving most recently as the Performance Director for bespoke event production house 'El Studio', Food & Beverage Manager for Manhattan wellness hotel 'The Assemblage' (supporting the implementation & management of the NYMPHAEA Botanical Elixir Bar and Plant Cafe menus), and as Founder and Lead Herbal Mixologist for "Elixirology", a non-alcoholic beverage program consultancy and herbal education platform.

Her philosophy has always been to fuse theatrical and experiential elements with hospitality. The Fairy's Cup is her most comprehensive take on this approach to date. Whimsical, all ages, and fully experiential, The Fairy's Cup is her homage to all things mythic and magical where're it be found!
